Shree Ramkrishna Exports Pvt. Ltd. (SRK), one of the leaders in diamond crafting and exports exhibited at the Gem Genève Show which started from 3rd November 2022 at Geneva, Switzerland.

The idea behind participating in Gem Genève was to connect with buyers from high-end jewellery brands and retailers and make new leads, to showcase the company, its culture and not about doing business alone. The employers were trained to explain everything about the industry and diamond craftsmanship, whether the visitor is from the industry, laboratory, services, a student or a teacher. The sentiment at Gem Genève was positive.  Buyers preferred larger stones with better clarity and colour. Emerald cut and ovals were in good demand.

At Gem Genève, SRK highlighted its sustainable actions as it has always been a core principle embedded in its business philosophy, backed by a long-term vision of helping build and maintain a clean and green environment. The company’s principles of zero harm, resource efficiency, minimising its ecological footprint, care for the community and personnel ensures that the brand never compromises on its sustainable practices. People and leaders all around the world are concerned about the rising temperatures on the Earth. Being in the diamond industry and being one of a top exporter, SRK felt that it’s the company’s responsibility to take some action faster and set an example.

SRK has joined hands with Global Network for Zero for this purpose. The company has committed to achieve Net Zero Carbon Emissions by 2024 and that is one of its important talking point this time at Gem Genève. Though its Virtual Reality presentation, the visitors could see the brand’s diamond crafting units virtually. They were able to view the factory 360 degrees and experience all the stages of diamond crafting at SRK’s environment-friendly green buildings. This along with their setup of diamond polishing wheel where the visitors could sit and experience diamond crafting were the interesting attractions at the show.
