Signet Jewelers contributes $100,000 towards Laxmi Diamond's Shantabaa General Hospital at Amreli

Coronavirus is an unprecedented global health crisis in the recent history of the world. The massive rise in infections in the second wave of the pandemic has led hospitals in several states as well as Amreli, Gujarat reeling under a shortage of medical oxygen supply and beds. One of world's biggest retailers, Signet Jewelers, has donated a sum of $100,000 (INR of 74 Lakhs) to the Gajera Trust for Shantabaa General Hospital at Amreli. The contribution has come in handy and helpful towards Covid-19 relief. 
Gajera Trust's Covid-relief project includes efforts to stop the virus’ spread, save critical state Covid- 19 patients’ lives and provide educational initiatives focused on the prevention of Covid-19.

The Covid-19 virus has been spreading fearlessly in Amreli. The donation will help to arrange machines, equipment and medicines to the hospital. During such critical situation, this is an essential and a great aid by Signet Jewelers for those who are suffering from the crisis due to coronavirus pandemic.
